Chris Richter, Founder and CEO

Cameron and Chris founded Socialware with a mission of enabling Global 2000 enterprises to truly leverage public social technologies. As the CEO, Chris is responsible for the overall execution of that strategy and vision.

Chris has spent the past 12 years at technology startups, either a founding member or part of the early team. Prior to founding Socialware, he worked along the exceptional entrepreneurs at Bazaarvoice and Webify Solutions. Over the course of his career, he has played the full range of roles from sales director to product management and business development. He brings that broad experience to his leadership role at Socialware. One of Chris’s secret powers is his ability to do pushup handstands, often in the Socialware hallways.

Cameron Cooper, Founder and CTO

As a founder and CTO of Socialware, Cameron is responsible for leading Socialware’s technical efforts including product strategy, development, operations and support. Drawing on his experiences at the successful start-ups Crossroads and Bazaarvoice, Cameron combines expertise in enterprise software and social media to make Socialware’s vision of social middleware a reality. Prior to Socialware, Cameron's previous venture developed one of the leading Linux distributions with over 1MM users. Cameron graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Chad Bockius, VP of Marketing and Product Strategy

Chad brings 10+ years of enterprise software experience from companies such as Bazaarvoice, BetweenMarkets and Trilogy to Socialware, where he heads up marketing, PR and product strategy. Chad most recently led the creation and communication of Bazaarvoice’s go-to-market strategies across a global line of Social Commerce applications. Before making the move to marketing, he successfully built the manufacturing vertical at Bazaarvoice and was responsible for bringing the BrandVoice product to market.

Chad earned a Bachelors of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Bee Cave with his wife, daughter and son, where he serves as City Councilman. Chad founded the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and enjoys playing golf and eating toasted ravioli any chance he gets.
