Enablement Manager

The Enablement Manager serves as the primary technical contact for the customer for the software enablement duration of a new customer engagement. The Enablement Manager is responsible for ensuring that all configurations necessary for the use of Socialware are completed to allow for an accelerated adoption of users. In addition, the Enablement Manager will assist customers to drive continuous improvement through the application of social best practices and assist customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. They will bring Socialware’s best practices, innovations, and capabilities to customers and drive greater business value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a trusted relationship with customer technical contacts such that all Socialware configurations are closely aligned with the customer's business case and business strategy, allowing the full potential of their social business strategy to be realized
  • Track all enablement configuration activities such that the overall success and completion of the customer's configuration items can be closely monitored including visibility to the executive sponsors
  • Serve as a customer advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of Socialware’s product and platform functionality integral to the customer's success
  • Ensure that all customers derive maximum value from their investment in Socialware
  • Identify opportunities within existing customers and collaborate with Customer Success Partners and sales teams for growth attainment
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all Socialware’s products and services
  • Understand customer requirements and assess the risk in configurations that could hinder adoption plans and renewing the current contract

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant work; SAAS delivery experience highly desired
  • High level of social media experience
  • Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating customer teams
  • Proven experience in managing large and complex customer relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred

Engineering Operations

The Socialware team is looking for an experienced Engineering Operations team member to join the Engineering team to provide a valuable role in delivering the Socialware suite of products. This position will manage all cloud based operations for Socialware including builds, debugging, and upgrading of key systems. In addition to the production systems, this position will own the internal infrastructure of the Socialware office. A successful Engineering Operations team member will know their way around production web applications such that they can help Engineering design highly scalable, highly available web applications and will be ready to help with debugging of production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Administer all IT operations necessary toward running the various web applications of Socialware
  • Design, impliment, and own a continuous delivery processes and infrastructure Proactively manage infrastructure operations to prevent outage and deliver high availability services
  • Serve as the escalation point for IT Operations Incident response and Request fulfillment in a 24/7/365 data environment
  • Maintain all technical resources used throughout the company
  • Monitor server performance, making recommendations for enhancements as needed
  • Keep informed of latest security threats and take necessary action to mitigate risk
  • Ensure network and server topology is documented and documents are maintained
  • Assist management in development and implementation of business continuity plans and procedures

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred
  • Expert in Linux platform administration
  • Expert in Amazon EC2 and/or Rightscale highly desired
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages (bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Crowd is desired
  • Experience with new, growing companies a plus
  • Chef, Puppet, or other similar orchestration tools a plus

Security Director

Socialware serves the regulated financial services industry with enterprise software solutions for compliant use of social media by these regulated global, national and regional firms. An integral part of the Customer whole-product solution is the Security Infrastructure of Socialware’s hosted solution and the Security Infrastructure of our organizational departments across Development, Support & IT. Socialware is looking for a Security Director to take on very dynamic role of owning the security and hardware infrastructure at Socialware. Socialware is looking for someone with a proven IT record combined with someone who has managed organization through formal security processes.

Responsibilities

Create a secure working IT infrastructure for Socialware that meets the vendor threshold requirements for these regulated global, national and regional firms.  .

  • Establish, maintain, and enforce security policies across all systems within Socialware.
  • Constantly improve the security policies of Socialware across the organization
  • Navigate successfully the completion of a SSAE 16 audit in 1H2012
  • Conduct and act on regular security assessments.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and maintain complex security systems according to industry best practices
  • Implement Intrusion Detection Systems throughout Socialware
  • Assist with the deployment and management of Socialware products
  • Provide real-time technical assistance for all employees

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 8 years experience in hands on systems administration and information security

  • Experience managing network security for a high-tech company
  • Experience taking a organization through a SAS, ISO, SSAE, or other formal security audit
  • Experience with Cisco router configuration
  • Experience with SAAS companies a plus

Solutions Engineer

The Solutions Engineer will partner with the direct sales team to help overcome technical objections, address questions about the architecture, delivery and implementation process for Socialware's SaaS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  •  Partner with Sales Directors to support them in the selling process which will include product demonstrations, RFP responses, security reviews and technical deep dive calls
  •  Set expectations and help scope the implementation process and timeframes
  •  Assist Sales Directors in creating client presentations and defining solution strategy

Drive proof of concepts by working with prospects to define deliverables, scope, success criteria and ensure all deliverables are complete Document product requests and requirements for product management and engineering departments

Requirements

  •  Candidates for this position must have solutions engineering or pre-sales experience, be fluent in social media have a proven track record of sales success while managing multiple sales cycles across multiple Sales Directors and meet all of the following requirements:
  • Deep technical expertise to be able to handle questions regarding architecture, delivery and integrations
  • Experience in managing the technical aspects of enterprise-class sales cycles
  • Demonstrated experience with social networking and social media
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Software Engineer

Socialware is looking for a software engineer who has strong computer science fundamentals and solid experience with industry-standard technologies to join our elite team of product development professionals. We are looking for an innovative software engineer who will drive all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to design to development to test to release to customer success.

Responsibilities

Do "whatever it takes" to design, build and deliver Socialware products and services:

  • Develop innovative software in small teams using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Deliver projects on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, program managers, human computer interaction specialists, customers and prospects to gather and define requirements.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in commercial product development using several of the following skills and technologies:

  • Java
  • Presentation technologies (EXT/JS, GWT, Javascript).
  • Database design and development and data modeling (SQL, XML).
  • Fundamentals of computer science: object-oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms.

The Customer Success Partner (CSP) serves as the primary business contact for the customer and is responsible for customer satisfaction. The CSP will build relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. In addition, the Customer Success Partner is responsible for ensuring that all Socialware customers drive continuous improvement through the application of social best practices. The CSP brings Socialware’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities to customers and drives greater business value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer executive sponsors such that all Socialware activities are closely aligned with the customer's business case and business strategy, allowing the full potential of their social business strategy to be realized
  • Track all implementation and post-implementation adoption activities such that the overall success of the customer's social business strategy can be closely monitored including visibility to the executive sponsors
  • Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends.
  • Serve as a customer advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of Socialware product and platform functionality integral to the customer's success
  • Ensure that all customers derive maximum value from their investment in Socialware
  • Identify and grow opportunities within existing customers and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
